Most of our pieces are named after 17th century Prime Ministers, but this moden classic needed a more moden name. ‘Blair’ had more of a ring to it that The Brown, or The Cameron… Tony Blair was of course the leader of New Labour, arguably most famous for tackling the war on terror. In 2001, Blair’s Britain invaded Iraq and then later in 2003, Afghanistan similarly in a bid to bring an end to terrorism.

Blair was born here in the north-east, therefore it felt appropriate that we should take a lend of his name for one of our pieces. Our Blair is very contemporary… a modern, architecturally pleaseing classic. This particular Manner 3 (scroll down to our crafting menu for more information on our crafting styles) sofa has been hand dyed in a stunning midnight black leather. The large square leather patches and the low arms make it perfect for a sprawl. The chrome Sheffield steel legs offer lots of stability and structure, but most importantly, style to the piece. Blair is a great example of non-Chesterfield sofas that we can craft, however, internally it is made with the same, original, solid structure, meaning it is built to last a lifetime.
